This AK started life in 1992 as an all matching minty unfired kit I purchased back in 2008 and sent to the premier AK builder of the time Chris Butler of AK-USA in Fort Myers Florida. This was built on a NDS-2T 5.45 receiver and is still in function test only fired condition. It's been a safe queen since. I replaced the original wood with black Special Forces furniture to give it an all black look.
If you don't know Chris Butler's work it was the absolute best at the time. His rivet work and attention to detail is second to none. He painstakingly removed all the old finished and refinished in a beautiful black hard coat finish. Even the selector works but obviously it's not connected to any FA internal parts. Also notice the safety has also never been worked to scratch the receiver.
If you looking for a center piece AK rifle then look no further. If you looking for a fantastic looking shooter then look no further.You will never see an finer make Tantal. Paperwork will be provided to prove it was built by AK-USA.
