The show up nearly new from time to time. Can usually bamboozle one for around 700 bucks. Actual model name is the Elcan Specter OS4X

What is the reticle looking like? Just a red dot or something more fancy?

Did 1 to 4s and both are fine with it. Done PR with it and was happy to 400 yards hitting targets.

Same as the Specter 1-4x. Cross hair with dual center dot or full reticle illumination choice. 30 inch vertical rangefinder scale in LH corner. BDC on reticle was available in either 5.56 or 7.62

The Nikon may be a cheapo, but so far, it works.

I've got 4 Nikon's in use currently, one on a Marlin in .45-70. No fails.

I paid $350 for each of them and they are worth it. They even have NV settings and that was fine for me.

The Vortex and Primary Arms LPVO 1-6x and 1-8x scopes are better than most stuff we had 25 years ago at any price.
