Nice pistol. I was at a GS in Ft Myers 11 yrs ago and looking for a Sig 239. Anyway this retired fed guy had a P239 and a Gold cup walking the show looking for a buyer at the booths. He wanted 1K for the gold cup. But wasn't really looking for one nor really understood what it was back then and just got the 239 instead from him

Information on this model is scarce but I think because of its rarity it may have reached collector status by now? I don't have plans to sell it. More likely to pass it down to my son. Thanks for watching!

Only prancing pony I've got is my father's LW Commander from circa 1953 that he had. I think he said he bought it for $25 back before I was born from some other guy in the Navy who was needing cash. He would throw it under the car seat in a leather when we would go on trips. Still in 85% shape. But he wasn't a gun nut like us.
